Like everyone who knew Reg, I was shocked and saddened to hear of his sudden death. I got to know Reg by way of volunteering and then working in the Constituency Office in 2001. I had never met anyone in such an esteemed position take such an interest in me and make me feel so at home, but at the same time imbued the importance and relevance of government and the people it represents. |

The electoral loss to Rod B. was a disappointment, but the loss of Reg himself was a heavy blow loaded with perspective. While we were not close personal friends, our sons played minor basketball together, and I enjoyed coaching Matthew for a time. Thanks Reg, for your service to Manitoba and all Canadians, and we extend our deepest sympathy. W. Borland & Family |
